Step 1: Let´s connect
Check out our website and see if we vibe. Keep scrolling for more information, pictures, and FAQs. Then fill out the contact form below so we know who you are and whether we have your date available.
As soon as you fill out the contact form you’ll receive an automated email with more detailed information including our wedding collections. We’ll follow-up personally within 24-48 hours to confirm we have your date available and with any other information you requested.

Step 2: Consult call & booking
You’ll also receive a link to our calendar to schedule your welcome call. This short 20-minute call gives us a chance to get to know each other, answer your questions, and make sure we’re a good fit. After all, we’re going to be with you for your entire day – from the time you’re getting dressed to the time you’re celebrating at your reception! After this, we’ll send over a short form for you to make things official.
Then it’s time to celebrate – you just booked your Upper Peninsula wedding photographers!!

Step 3: Engagement session
Your engagement session can be scheduled any time after you’re officially booked! We recommend at least 6 weeks out from your wedding so you have time to enjoy and share your images. If you’re planning to send out save-the-dates, let’s schedule your engagement session ASAP so you can use your pictures for those, too!
If you’re planning a destination wedding in the Upper Peninsula and don’t actually live in the area, you still can and should do an engagement session! Let’s talk through our options together. We both have family in the Lower Peninsula. If we’re already planning a trip down to visit family (or shoot another wedding or session) can we coordinate schedules to meet that weekend? Step 4: Your wedding day!!
EEEEE!!! The big day is finally here!!
Because we’ve been in contact throughout the whole process, you’ll know exactly what to expect. (Well, except for when Aunt Sue will inevitably get up and try to lead the reception in her rendition of R-E-S-P-E-C-T.)
We send your timeline 2-3 months ahead of time so you’ll know when we’re arriving, what time you need to be dressed, and when all the key moments are going to happen. It’s time to take a deep breath, savor this moment, and enjoy this celebration of your love. Trust that we’ll be with you throughout your Upper Peninsula wedding day and will help you navigate whatever happens.

Step 5: Gallery delivery & wedding album
We know you’re dying to see your images, so trust you’ll have sneak peeks within 48 hours of your wedding (and often sooner!) Your full gallery will be ready for review within 4-6 weeks of your wedding.
You’ll also receive your initial wedding album design the same day you receive your wedding gallery. Most couples only opt to swap out a couple of images from our original design – because after years of designing wedding albums, we’ve gotten pretty darn good at selecting images and putting them together to tell the story of your day.

01. What is your photography style?
We believe looking back at your images should transport you back to that snapshot in time, so you can relive the day just like it happened. That’s why our shooting style leans towards timeless, not trendy. We don’t jump in to pose you every second of the day, but we’re there to help you whenever you need it, so you can be the best version of yourself. 02. Do you charge a travel fee?
For the most part, no! We love photographing weddings all over the Upper Peninsula. Due to the extra travel and ferry fees for Drummond Island and Mackinac Island, however, we do charge a small extra fee for weddings in these locations. This is also applicable for the Lower Peninsula and surrounding states.
03. Do you provide prints if we would rather you print them?
Absolutely! We work with a professional photography lab to provide you the best quality, better than Walgreen’s or Shutterfly can offer on its best day. You’ll be able to see the variety of prints and framing options available when your gallery goes live! (Or check out our products page now.)
04. Can we see some full wedding galleries?
Absolutely! All you have to do is ask. I’m more than happy to send you examples of full galleries that I’ve delivered to real clients so you can get a better idea of what your gallery will look like.
It’s extremely important that you feel comfortable and confident booking a true professional photographer who can reliably provide consistent results – not just someone who “likes taking pictures” and can only take pretty pictures at golden hour.
05. Do you photograph church weddings?
There are a number of Upper Peninsula wedding photographers who specialize in church weddings. While occasionally we photograph indoor ceremonies, the couples we work with are primarily focused on incorporating the beauty of the Upper Peninsula into their weddings and elopements.
