Upper Peninsula Family Pictures
Every family should have quality images on their walls, not just snapshots on their phones.
When was the last time you had real family pictures – ones where you are in the frame with your kids?
You take so many snaps when they’re babies, but before you know it life gets busy and things start to slide.
Fill in the gaps between newborn – kindergarten – graduation by making 2023 your year for family pictures.
When was the last time you had real family portraits – ones where you are in the frame with your kids?

Selfies are fun, but why not try something different this year?
You’ll hear me say it as we start shooting but the most important things need to be said AND read.
You are hiring me to capture your connection with your family – NOT your connection with my camera.
What I mean is – be in the moment, and BREATHE in the moment.
Love on your family.
Play with your kids.
Allow yourself to have FUN.
Do the things you would do to make your family laugh when I’m not there.
And I mean a REAL laugh, like the kind that reminds you that you do, indeed, have ab muscles.
Snuggle in tight, the kind of tight that allows you to slow down and feel the other person’s heart beating.
When you look back at your session – when you look back at your life, I want you to see joy, happiness, FUN + open-mouth-head-tilted-back-laughter.

Capturing your family doesn’t require acting or pretending – maybe just a little direction. It is my goal to capture your personalities together! Do you stand stiff and posed in everyday life? Of course not!
While I’ll make sure to get some “card-worthy” posed pictures for yearly cards, etc., I focus more on capturing the moments who show who you really are together, as a real family.
Let’s create some Upper Peninsula family portraits that you will be proud to display for years to come!

Why am I the right photographer for your family?
I get it – choosing a photographer that will vibe with your family is crucial to getting the authentic images you picture.
Not only do I hold a 5 star rating on Google, but what we hear most frequently is just how comfortable Rob and I make families feel.
A big part of helping you feel comfortable is the way we custom design your family session before I ever pick up my camera.
What will family pictures in the Upper Peninsula cost me?
Family portrait sessions start at 300 for your immediate family group. This includes your session, a number of digital images with print release, and a credit towards your order of fine art matted prints, folio boxes, fine art framed prints, and heirloom albums.
I also love doing extended family sessions such as multi-generational groups and reunions! These sessions begin at 495.

“We live downstate, but my husband graduated from Michigan Tech so we like to come up to Copper Country on vacation. We knew we wanted to get our annual family photos taken while on vacation. After some searching, I came across Veronica. During our consulting call, she figured out what exactly I was hoping to get out of our session.
As our vacation drew near, Veronica scouted spots to see where the fall colors were peaking as we really wanted fall foliage along Lake Superior for our session. We went with her recommendation, and it was the perfect spot. Stunning fall colors along the waterfront. Veronica put us at ease and got genuine smiles out of our preschooler (that’s a hard thing to do!). We are so grateful to have these beautiful photos that captured memories of our 2022 trip that we will cherish forever.”

“Veronica went above and beyond, she took our pictures on the hottest day of the summer. She brought us waters to drink, and stools to sit on. She was super kind, and made my son and I feel at ease. Her husband Rob helped with carrying our things, and helped Veronica with additional things. They were a joy to be around and made it fun to get our pictures taken. Thanks a million!”
